Amanda Volk is a registered physiotherapist with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from the University of Southern California (USC). She completed an advanced orthopaedic physical therapy residency in California and earned her Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) designation in 2020. Her clinical background includes orthopaedic rehabilitation, women’s health, return-to-sport rehabilitation and management of complex orthopedic conditions.

Amanda graduated from USC in 2019, where she was awarded the Kathleen Bice Clinical Excellence Scholarship in recognition of her clinical skill, professionalism, and dedication to patient care. Following graduation, she completed an intensive orthopedic residency program that emphasized advanced clinical mentorship, evidence-based practice, collaborative care, and specialized orthopedic training designed to accelerate clinical reasoning and treatment expertise. Amanda then practiced for three years in California, where she helped establish and develop a Women’s Health program within her clinic.

Originally from Victoria, BC, Amanda’s passion for sport and movement earned her a soccer scholarship. During her summers home from university, she worked at Rebalance MD in front reception, physiotherapy administration, and bracing services, where she developed an early appreciation for comprehensive patient care and interdisciplinary teamwork. Amanda and her family spent time in Belgium and the Netherlands where she learned Dutch/Flemish. Now back home on Vancouver Island with her family. Amanda is excited to reconnect with the Pacific Northwest and explore the mountains and outdoors from a new perspective. Outside the clinic, she enjoys hiking, staying active, and spending time outdoors with her family.
