Dr. Kevin Wing is a Vancouver-based, fellowship-trained foot and ankle orthopaedic surgeon and Medical Director at RebalanceMD. With over 25 years of experience in orthopaedic surgery, he specializes in advanced ankle arthritis, sports-related foot and ankle injuries, and post-traumatic reconstruction. 

A board-certified and qualified medical expert in orthopaedic surgery, Dr. Wing provides clear, neutral, defensible IME reports to provide diagnostic clarity, disability assessment and evidence-based treatment for lower extremity conditions with subspecialty interest in the adult foot and ankle. 

Dr. Wing is qualified as a medical expert in orthopaedic surgery by the BC Supreme Court. He has performed over 250 Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) since 2003 and has had an active clinical practice treating patients with traumatic orthopedic injuries (excluding the spine) for the entire body, and an office practice restricted to adult foot and ankle reconstruction since 2001. 

He is a clinical professor in the department of orthopaedics at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Wing has over 75 peer reviewed publications focused on assessing the patient’s perspective of their foot and ankle condition.  

Dr. Wing is the past president of the British Columbia Orthopaedic Association and the Canadian Foot and Ankle Society.
